Peace and security influence level of economic development

Despite rapid economic development that characterizes many regions in developing countries, poverty is either stark reality or a real threat for the majority of workers in the developing world.

By 2015, the global number of jobless could be larger than it is now. About 900 million adults in the developing countries are unable to earn   enough to cater for their families while, millions still face unemployment.

Continued and sustained economic growth is not only a precondition for employment but also provides countries the fiscal space to address other critical factors such as, access to health services and safe drinking water. Growth has been a critical factor in reducing global poverty levels.

The primary stabilization policy should be to achieve stable economic growth. However there are a number of factors that are key players, But crucial of all is peace security and conflict prevention. these give a base a base to economic growth and henceforth eradication of poverty

I hope the UN can realise how the the issue of peace, security and conflict prevention is such an influential point not to miss in the on-going post 2015 development agenda.
